Appreciating eternal families

Pictures:  Youth Class, Hi, Desk, District, Valentines, Bridge view
Mom, I am so glad you got to go to AZ and see all your brothers and sisters. I am finding that i am appreciating eternal families alot here on the misión.
When it says that i am going to serve a misión among the wicked generation it is not lying. It is very different here and from what i have Heard it is abit different than the rest of mexico. The family is in danger mucho here because of the poor economy and Jobs people have alot of family problems. It is the norm here to be around 17 and pregnant and without a father. And when people do want to live together they never get married. People dont want to keep commitments and just to live in the momento. Because of that it is very hard to get people to do the things necessary to be baptized like go to church, read, and pray. There is the rule that an investegator has to go to church 5 times before they can get baptized. The people here are having a hard time to be committed to something and do something diligently. The people are distracted by worldly things. So it is really difficult but when some one can rise above all this it is so much more amazing and testimony building.
Well as for my health i am doing fine, and actually better than ever. I had some trouble getting accustomed at the beginning but now i think i am totally fine and have had less problems here than back home. I am really thankfull for that. And as for the vitamins I am taking your vitamins every so often and we get vitamins from the misión office but i would really like a resupply of vitamin c packets, vit. d, and those charcoal tablets, i have borrowed the charcoal tablets to other Elders and i really think they work so if i could get some of them.
As for the food it is good, too good. The situation is that i cant excersize like i could before back home like go running or get great workout. I only have 30 min in the morning to do excersize and that isnt enough to get a good sweat going and also i am tired and dont feel like doing much at this hour. We went to sams at the beginning of this month and bought ALOT of food and because of that and the food the members give us for every lunch it is difficult to keep Slim. I have been eating the picante/hot food and salsa here and i think that has been helping. I can deal with the heat and actually really like the spiciness but one time a member gave us salsa of only habañero which is alot hotter than jalapeño and we almost died the four of us including the mexican and the guatamaltecan. We have actually 3 levels of hotness here. there is the jalapeño which is 1, Serrano 2, and habañero 3, and we are trying to move our way up the levels. Well also we have been starting the real heat from the sun here. I dont know how hot it gets but it is def in the 80s if not in the 90s. Today is actually 91 degrees wheew hot.
Well love you guys alot next week i will write more i hope
.
Love
