Quick Letter

Well really fast this week went by pretty quickly.but slowly at the same
time. We had a conference with Elder Johnson on Saturday who is the area 70 for all of Mexico and gave us a very direct and inspiring message that changed my view on missionary work at least. A little of what he said was about how we need to be taking more seriously missionary work as a church in whole. We need to be advancing the work along more rapidly. We talked about how really the field is ripe and ready to harvest and its just like a field of tomatoes. Oh and Clint this is for you too. I dont know if they have fields of tomatoes in Guatemala but place your own field of whatever they grow there in mind but here in Mexico we have A TON!. Elder Johnson said that we must go picking the tomatoes that are red and full and ripe. Of course we will not go and pick the green ones or the ones that have a little of red or the rotten ones. We must only go and pick the ones ripe and ready and not waste are time sitting there in front of the plant waiting for a few green ones to ripen when there is a whole field of ripe ones that are ready but may soon go to rot if we do not do our job and move along.
This got me to thinking about some people that we visit and are not really getting any were and are still green. We need to move on and look for the people that are ready and waiting patiently. We can do this by member references by asking where we can find the ripe and ready souls. You guys as a family can help the missionaries there by giving them references. think about all the people you interact with and give them the chance to here the gospel and if they are ripe and red then how marvelous and if they are still a little green then at least the missionaries know and will then be ready to harvest later.
well love you so much and have a great week
