Well mom i will try to answer your seminary questions but i have left like 15 minutes. So for advice for a future missionary would be alot of stuff but a few thoughts are....
=Live your life NOW how you want your mission to be. Dont think that when you get on your mission you are going to change into perfect missionary. Still a mission is a life changing experience and you will grow and stretch but big changes turn on small hinges and that small hinge is the decision to live your life as best as you can now and not wait for change to come to you.
=Read Preach my Gospel at least once and focus on Chapter 3 where the 4 missionary lessons are. We teach these lessons so many times it is good to get a good foundation in what it is saying to be able explain it clearly, effectively, and maybe in another language haha.
=I find joy on my mission from the joy others have. When you see someone who is having a fun, spiritual, smiling experience with the Gospel it is just so heart warming to know that this gospel is true and people are really loving there lives with the truth of this church at the base of this happiness. Also i love being among the people. The companions, the other missionaries, mexicanos, members, and just everyone you meet is different and it is great to just get to know someone when it is a total stranger at times. All the experiences on a mission help build the confidence of your Spirit, your testimony, life style, and mind. nothing is left undeveloped, untried, unstretched to try and help you become the best and brightest child of God ever.
I will get back to you next week and hopefully have more time
Love you all and take care!
